My Fendels Winter Mountain - at the heart of the family ski area

The Fendels ski area is located at the entrance of Kaunertal on a high plateau. In contrast to the Kaunertal Glacier, here you do not escape the civilization. On the contrary – you are right in the middle.

Lifts and slopes start directly from the village Fendels. But also the cable car from Ried in Oberinntal leads guests into the middle of the ski area. But everything stays relaxed and manageable.
Whether you would like to go skiing, tobogganing or winter hiking with your family – everything is possible at Winterberg Fendels.

Families with three generations – children, parents and grandparents – who would like to spend their winter holidays in Tyrol are just right in Fendels. The village and the ski area have preserved its originality.
Everything is manageable, not crowded and yet offers all the infrastructures that are essential for a winter holiday with family. In the “Bibiland”, the little ones get used to snow and winter sports equipment.
The ski school Kaunertal-Fendels with trained professionals offers ski lessons and childcare. At the adventure playground directly at the restaurant Sattelklause it will not be boring even in winter. If you need a break from skiing, you can feel the crunching snow under your feet while walking on winter hiking trails.
If you would like to stay in the experience of a fast run, you can ride on the natural toboggan run through the forest from the Sattelboden down to the village.

If you would like to get out in the evening to experience the special atmosphere of a lighted winter night, you can do it every Thursday from 19:00 to 22:00 during night skiing and night tobogganing.
