Terms & Conditions for training and slope reservation

We are happy to include your reservation request in our piste map and ask you to be able to offer optimal training conditions on our routes again this year and to enable meaningful training work in the snow.

1. Confirmation of the reservation

A confirmed reservation for your desired route is made on the assumption or requirement that the snow conditions are similar to those of last year and that the training area can be prepared to the same extent for the teams. Therefor there could be changes due to the temperature and actual amount of snow. We ask you to contact us one week before arrival by phone on +43 (0) 5475 5566.

2. Training with other teams

Please note that the training on the dates mentioned is only possible with other teams (joint training, use the offered route with other teams). The training group is only allowed to train exclusively in their assigned sector. Training courses are also possible in the afternoon or on the weekends (except for SG, consultation on site with the slope manager!).

3. Handling of the training

The responsible team bosses are solely responsible for handling the training on the routes provided. The Kaunertaler Gletscherbahnen do not assume any responsibility or liability towards third parties. The instructions of the lift and slope staff must be followed. All training teams are instructed to properly carry out the measures required to safely conduct a race or training so that the piste keeper does not have any further tasks. Preparing the piste or pushing up a starting hill does not mean that the piste operator takes on additional responsibility. The fall area, in particular to the public ski slopes, must be complied with as required.

4. Cancellation

If a team does not arrive for a training date that has been reserved and confirmed by us, we reserve the right to cancel the remaining course reservations on our part! This is to ensure, in the interest of everyone involved, that the reservations are kept and are not made or practiced arbitrarily (double bookings in other ski areas).

5. Coach meeting

During the training stays, the participation of a team manager in the daily meeting with our slope manager is mandatory (meeting at 11:00 a.m. in the management office)!

6. Operating times of the lifts

Depending on the weather and temperature conditions, our management determines the operating times of the individual lifts.

7. Slope preparation

Taxes, dyes, snow cement, etc. are not allowed to be used. All grooming measures and classifications are coordinated by the piste manager responsible, not the individual piste skier.

8. Valid ski passes required

All active people, trainers and service people without exception require ski passes! The ski passes will only be issued upon presentation of this letter and with a current list of participants, which will be deposited at the main cash desk.
Without submitting this information sheet or the current list of participants, our cashiers will charge the normal rate for one-day or multi-day tickets. No group discounts! Ski passes are only available at the toll station. The service people have to collect the cards with a business card from the company themselves at the cash desk, you will be charged the training tariff per day.

9. Media implementation

Since the special prices mentioned do not cover our increased expenses (preparation, special travel times, etc.) for the teams, we expect all teams to receive permanent promotional consideration for the Kaunertal Glacier, both to the media in their home country as well as during the training and during the international racing winters. This also includes sharing the contributions of the racing groups or participants in our social media channels. We would be happy to enable media representatives from your home country to work on the Kaunertal Glacier. The contact person for this is Mr. Daniel Frizzi: +43 (0) 5475 55 66
The Kaunertaler Gletscherbahnen reserve the right to place some banners along the training routes. Banners from other team sponsors can only be set up with an exceptional permit from us!

10. Training with Skidoo

Training with a skidoo on the Kaunertal Glacier is generally not permitted. However, a written exception permit can be requested from the management for ski tests, which must contain precise information about the intended use of the Skidoo. All unreported skidoos will be reported to the police.
