Due to the Kaunertal Glacier Road, which is open all year round, people with disabilities can get safely and comfortably to the glacier center at 2,750 meters.
In winter, monobob skiers can use the barrier-free Falginjochbahn with its own access or the barrier-free Karlesjochbahn.
In summer you can drive through the alpine vegetation levels and take the Karlesjochbahn cable car to 3,108 meters to the Italian border, where you can enjoy a wonderful view over the mountains of South Tyrol and Switzerland.
Our glacier restaurant Weißsee is also designed to be barrier-free. Our staff is trained to help people with handcaps.
