This winter, everything at the Kaunertal Glacier will once again revolve around freeriding and splitboarding! The elooa BACKCOUNTRY OPENING focuses on the passion for untouched snow.
Whether you reach the summit comfortably by lift or use your own strength with a splitboard, shared enthusiasm and important safety standards are guaranteed on the subsequent powder descent. A perfect start to the backcountry season

You can choose from the following workshops:

• FREERIDE workshop:
  Start of the season with lift in the ski area, for beginners and advanced riders, groups divided by level, deep snow riding technique, freeride terrain assessment, avalanche prevention, advanced avalanche transceiver training, avalanche search training in the park, training & handling ice axe – crampons – rope – harness

• SPLITBOARD workshop:
  Start of the season with splitboards in the backcountry, for beginners and advanced riders, groups divided by level, splitboard technique exercises, splitboard terrain assessment, avalanche prevention, advanced avalanche transceiver training, avalanche search training in the park, training & handling ice axes, crampons, ropes, and
