Elooa Backcountry Opening

The Backcountry Opening on the Kaunertal Glacier offers a new highlight for freeride and splitboard fans.At the elooa Backcountry Opening, presented by K2, everything revolves around the backcountry experience, whether on the lift or under your own steam on a splitboard.Four different workshops are on offer: TURNS (riding technique), TOURING (splitboard entry), SAFETY (avalanche safety) and ALPINISM (equipment and technique for alpine terrain). Participants also have the opportunity to test equipment free of charge. The event starts with a welcome evening including a 3-course menu and continues with practical workshops on the glacier. Whether beginner or advanced – the event is the ideal start to the winter season.
